Founders Story

I didn’t create Reset Room because I thought the world needed another wellness concept.

I created it because I needed it.

Constant input

Like most people, my life had become constant input. Work. Family. Phones. Notifications. Decisions. Conversations. Screens. News. Noise.

Even the moments that were supposed to be downtime still had something competing for my attention.

At some point, I realized something: I wasn’t tired. I was overstimulated.

I didn’t need another class. I didn’t want another appointment. I didn’t want someone telling me how to meditate, how to breathe, or what I was supposed to be feeling.

I just wanted somewhere I could go and shut everything off.

The room I wanted didn’t exist

A place with no pressure and no expectations.

No instructor.

No start time. No end time.

No talking.

No phone.

No screens.

No performance.

No need to be good at meditation.

Just a beautiful, quiet space where I could relax, put on headphones, close my eyes, and disappear for a little while.

I couldn’t find that place. So I built it.

Reset Room

Every part of Reset Room came from that idea.

The pods. The darkness. The warm lighting. The immersive headphones. The silence. Even the rule that asks you to put your phone away. Nothing is there by accident.

When you enter your pod, you choose what you need in that moment: Heal. Align. Breath. Nature. Silent.

There is no instructor waiting for you and no schedule you need to follow. The experience is yours. You can meditate. You can breathe. You can listen. You can sleep. Or you can simply do nothing.

That may be the entire point.

The place I wanted for myself

As a business owner, husband, and father, I understand what it feels like to always be reachable.

There is almost always someone who needs something, a decision that needs to be made, an email that needs to be answered, or another piece of information demanding my attention.

Reset Room started with a somewhat selfish idea: I wanted somewhere I could disappear for an unplanned 30 minutes.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized how many other people were probably looking for the same thing. Not another thing to do. A place to stop doing.

Why Reset Room exists

“Sometimes you don’t need another answer. You need enough silence for the answer to find you.”

I believe we spend so much of our lives absorbing information that we rarely give ourselves enough quiet to process any of it.

That is why I created Reset Room. A place where nothing is being asked of you. A place to disconnect from everything else long enough to reconnect with yourself.

Escape the static.
